DIG-IN EVENTS |

Green Corn Project (GCP) is working to address issues of food insecurity in Central Texas by building organic vegetable gardens at homes, schools, and community centers. Each spring and fall, we hold Dig-In events where GCP volunteers and garden recipients work together with a trained Dig-In Leader to build double-dug organic vegetable gardens at homes, schools, and community centers.
In Fall 2007, GCP built 10 new gardens and refurbished over 50 gardens from previous seasons with the help of over 300 volunteers. We are happy to be working with:
GCP would love to have you join us as a volunteer in the fall of 2007. We need folks to help out as Dig-In volunteers, mentors for new gardeners, and Dig-In Leaders (training required). If you are interested in volunteering, please use the online volunteer entry form below or download our volunteer application and mail it to our address below. Please email us if you have additional questions at greencornproject@usa.net.
