Dai Due Supper Club benefit, August 9th

The Dai Due Supper Club, brainchild of Chef Jesse Griffiths and green business entrepreneur Tamara Mayfield, graciously held a benefit on August 9th 2008 for Green Corn Project!
Dai Due dinners are an intimate experience, bringing a small group of attendees to the table in a communal atmosphere at a private residence. The seven course meal focused on local food resources grown in environmentally and socially responsible ways, including locally grown summer vegetables; pastured and grass-fed meats from Central Texas ranchers; cheeses and dairy from Veldhuizen, Full Quiver Farm and Remember When Dairy; and extremely fresh seafood brought straight from the boats in the Gulf.
This event was sponsored by The Great Outdoors, one of Austin's finest nurseries. Wine was very generously donated by our sponsor, Spicewood Vineyards.
The evening began at 7pm with poolside cocktails and featured live music and a silent auction. Below are some photos of this great event:
