In late 2007, after serving as program coordinator, Meagan O’Donnell became executive director of the Green Corn Project. Meagan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Geology. She quickly began a career in environmental activism as a water quality consultant and local food advocate in Southwestern Colorado. In 2006, she returned to Austin with her family to refocus her career on grassroots environmental activism in the nonprofit sector. When she’s not working in her garden or someone else’s, she’s spending time nurturing her four-year-old daughter, Eden.
